I’d like to think that the hard work we put into our food, and the thought process that goes into making a great meal or party is better off unnoticed. The final product should taste great, look great, and be served greatly but with a sense of ease and purpose. After all, no one wants to think about why or how, they just want to enjoy what is being offered. After having the pleasure of catering a trunk show for the fashion company Abaete and designer Laura Poretzky, the parallels between our work and the work of a fashion designer became rather apparent. As friends and clients strolled through the show, picking out the next staples of their wardrobe, they snacked on our hors devours and drank champagne. It was nice being part of such a great event!
